Established in 2071 B.S Nepal Agricultural Machinery Entrepreneurs' Association (NAMEA) has been registered in the Kathmandu district administration office as non-profit organization under Association and Organization Registration Act 2034. The association comprises of more than 440 members from around the nation representing the entire mechanization sector from agriculture tools and technology manufacturers, importers, distributors, retailers and workshop operators. With this diverse, inclusive and wide network of members, the association has taken a new form on the agriculture mechanization sector.

The office of NAMEA is located on Sitapaila, Kathmandu. In every two years a new committee is formed following democratic measures. The current executive committee is the fifth executive committee of NAMEA and comprises of 15 members board with 5 secretariat members as an executive committee. There is a team of 3 professional staffs in the secretariat and 5 members advisory committee.

Historically this association has been helping the nation by promoting agriculture machinery and enhances awareness on farm mechanizations and technology adoption. NAMEA has been associated with FNCCI as an affiliated member and working with different organizations of Government of Nepal and even global institutions such as CSAM, UNESCAP, CIMMYT & USAID for fostering agriculture mechanization in Nepal.
